THE ROSE BALL in aid of Children with Cerebral Palsy

Over 50 guests enjoyed a paparazzi style welcome with rose corsages and cocktails followed by dinner and dancing to a live jazz singer. Ticket sales plus a prize draw, raffle and sweepstake on the night helped to raise £900.

The activity is part of a year-long partnership between the fitness club and the Rose Walton Centre. Fundraising activities held by Fitgirlslim including a ‘Wear it Green Week’, publishing a charity cookbook and the invitation to ‘Bring a Friend for a Fiver’, have already raised over £2000. The next event is a two hour charity aerobathon, open to the public and will be held on Sunday 20th November at Caterham High School in Clayhall. Karen said: “We have adopted the Rose Walton Centre as our chosen charity for 2016. It is a tiny family run local charity that desperately needs funds to continue it’s amazing work using the Peto method to help children with cerebral palsy. Our members love the fact that by raising even a moderate amount of money we can make a real difference to this very small charity.

Individual Photos taken at the event are on sale for £3.00
