Fitness Pilates

Fitness Pilates at Home was created by Karen Smith in response to the Covid-19 pandemic and offers restorative classes designed to balance both mind and body from the comfort of your own home.

Traditional Pilates exercises are brought into the twenty first century with functional, flowing movements to music helping to improve posture and balance.

The focus is on strengthening weak muscles and stretching tight areas to create muscular skeletal balance while gently mobilising stiff and achy joints.

Core stabilising and strengthening to improve back health is an important feature of these 60- minute sessions and each class concludes with a fifteen-minute guided relaxation.

All live sessions are uploaded into the online group and available 24/7 on demand.

Karen has taught community Fitness Pilates classes in Woodford Green for five years and  combines both face to face and online sessions every week.
