Fitness Pilates

Fitness Pilates at Home was created by Karen Smith in response to the Covid-19 pandemic and offers restorative classes designed to balance both mind and body from the comfort of your own home.

Traditional Pilates exercises are brought into the twenty first century with functional, flowing movements to music helping to improve posture and balance.

There is focus on strengthening weak muscles and stretching tight areas to create muscular skeletal balance while gently mobilising stiff and achy joints.

Core stabilising and strengthening to improve back health is an important feature of these 60- minute sessions and each class concludes with a fifteen-minute guided relaxation.

Online Pilates membership offers one live class per week on Wednesdays at 11am. All live sessions are also uploaded into the group and available 24/7 on demand.

Karen has taught community Fitness Pilates classes in Woodford Green for five years and looks forward to combining both face to face and online sessions as soon as it’s safe to do so.
